Resume validation is a procedure through which the features of the information provided by the applicant in both the Resume and Profile Background Form are corroborated and the legitimacy of the information is authenticated and determined. According to ISO 27001, a proficient and professional Background Verification Company is required to perform BGV on the employees of any ISO 27001 certified Company. The reason for doing so is quite simple. Justly because, the employer is dealing with confidential or sensitive information pertaining to the individual and hence, the employer must confirm that the staff does not have a disputed or questionable history that can jeopardize the Company’s reputation with lawsuits and endanger its position through data leakage.
